Saba Khan refuses to settle for anything mediocre. Her impressive list of accomplishments makes that apparent. Saba served as President of the Muslim Students Association, after serving for only one year as Sisterhood chair. She has both planned and attended events throughout campus as an active member of Amnesty International and Steps Towards Change. Off campus she has actively participated in many community service projects for such organizations as Habitat for Humanity, as well as local schools and homeless shelters. Her diverse skills have allowed her to help with building homes for the homeless and tutoring children at the elementary and middle school levels.
“There should be no excuse for not giving something your best. If you have given something your best, then there should be no regret,” says Saba. “Also, I'm a strong believer that we must build on today to be able to create a better tomorrow.” Saba’s philosophy is not just something she feels, it’s how she lives.
