“I have really put all of my love and effort toward this school,” says Carlos Parisi, “in order to watch it grow into an outstanding university and home for the students.” This love and effort can clearly be seen in the many ways Carlos has actively involved himself in campus life. In addition to serving as the Vice President of the American Marketing Association, the Director of Marketing for Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) and the Project Coordinator and Leader for Professional Development Week, Carlos has been involved in the College of Business Freshman Orientation, and has coordinated several on-campus events. These events included both the Spring and Fall Speaker Series, as well as the College of Business Inter-Organizational Event, at which Carlos was also a speaker.
Carlos organized the Student Executive Board for the Dean of the College of Business, and was a speaker for the UM-Dearborn Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team in Chicago. He reflects: “…I hope that all of the students that I have worked with in the past can learn from my achievements and mistakes. This university is my home, and I only hope that it will continue to be a home to every student in future years.”
