Difference Makers
UM-Dearborn Difference Makers are at the forefront of their fields. They’re improving the lives of others and making an impact on campus and in our local communities.
During her undergraduate career at UM-Dearborn, Chelsey was the student moderator for the Bachelor of Business Administration Honors Program, an Academic Service-Learning Student Fellow, and participated in the Honors Leadership Program and the College of Arts, Science, and Letters Honors Program. She was the chief operating officer for the student group Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) and part of the SIFE presentation team awarded "Rookie of the Year.” SIFE is dedicated to promoting education and community involvement using business principles to change lives and the world. Their motto is “A head for business. A heart for the world.”
True to SIFE’s motto, Chelsey continues to share her talents within UM-Dearborn and the community. She's been a College of Business alumni board member, SIFE alumni board chairperson, a social media assistant volunteer at Dearborn Animal Shelter, and a communications and public relations volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She's served as a project coordinator at Gongos Research while pursuing a Master of Science in Finance at UM-Dearborn.
