Founder and partner of Sargon Partners, Inc., Jeffrey Golota (’85 B.A.) is a successful business executive, entrepreneur and venture capitalist. Prior to founding Sargon Partners, Golota was chief executive officer and founder of the e-business company, J. Thomas for 20+ years. He is involved in the Ann Arbor Angels organization which focuses on investing in early stage innovation. He supports local nonprofits through his family foundation in public service and leadership like North American Intervention Center and North Star Reach. He nurtures and mentors CASL economics and communications majors as well as CECS students to promote student research and innovation.  He has also been a dedicated supporter of the College of Arts, Sciences and Letters, serving as an active member of the Dean’s Advisory Council since 2014.
