I work for the State of Michigan, testing and developing applications that assist the mission of Michigan Rehabilitation Services, and help connect disabled workers with employers looking to hire them.
An avid fan of sports and politics, Kyle Schafer already acquired his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History, graduating from the Honors Program with Academic Distinction. He is pursuing his master’s degree in Public Administration.
Kyle is very active in the world of sports reporting and commentary. In the three years that he was at campus radio station WUMD, Kyle pushed to reshape station programming to avoid a loss of funding. His efforts to bring live sportscasting to an increasing number of listeners have been highly successful! In addition to being a DJ, Kyle was the station’s Sports Director and even ran color commentary for Wolves hockey, basketball, volleyball, and rugby. He's also been a sportswriter for The Michigan Journal.
Despite his successes, Kyle shows no signs of slowing down. “I never quit.” he says. “The show must go on!"
