What makes you a Difference Maker?
I am very grateful and honored to be nominated as a Difference Maker. From my perspective, diligence and consistency in the work process are the main characteristics of a successful candidate, which, not by accident, are part of my day-to-day mantra. The most defining moment in my life showing these characteristics is when I was burning the midnight oil preparing for the entrance exams for the Ph.D. program while having a part-time job and finishing my master's degree with honors. Being a Difference Maker is like telling someone a motivational speech about how to overcome all the difficulties in the study process by building your personality.
Tell us about your leadership experience.
I have participated in international business trips and conferences as well as presented the topic of my project at scientific seminars.
What is your dream career or goal?
I have not made the final decision yet because I am on the bridge between a career in academy and a career in industry. Even though I have always dreamt of being a professor at a prestigious university and being a world-class professional in the field of my interest. I would not work a single day having such a job, since it will be what I truly love.
What is your most defining moment?
The first moment I arrived at the campus was the most defining moment for me because I arrived in the USA (have not been abroad before) and arrived at campus. This day was my birthday. At that moment I understood that this place is where I belong and I want to impact as much as possible on worldwide science during my Ph.D. program.
