Youssef's Story
Youssef Mosallam is principal at Dearborn’s Fordson High School, the district’s largest school. During his tenure with Dearborn Public Schools, first as an English teacher, then as principal of an elementary school and now a high school principal, Youssef earned the Superintendent’s Teacher Award and the PTSA Outstanding Educator of the Year Award.
Never relinquishing his connection to UM-Dearborn, Youssef is also a lecturer for the SOE’s Master’s program and authored a successful Department of Education national professional grant resulting in a $1.2 million dollar award which resulted in a collaboration between UM-Dearborn and the Dearborn Public Schools.
